Able to locate patient name and select correct episode for type of record to be prepped. Able to correctly save work performed on electronic files. Must maintain work product accuracy standards of 95% or better.  Maintains medical record integrity through filing, assembling and retrieving confidential patient records for all purposes.  This position requires the employee to have access and protect patient health information whether in electronic, written or verbal form.

Clinic Radiologist Technologist-7560

Speech Pathologist - 6678

Primary Duties: To help patient reach maximum performance within limits of their capabilities by evaluating, assessing, and conducting medically directed speech therapy programs to prevent disability and restore function following injury, decreased use of body part, and/or loss of use of body part.

Qualifications: Graduate with a minimum of MS in Communicative Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited school as well as being license eligible or certified in the state of Illinois. Two to three years’ previous experience as a speech therapist preferred.  Current C.P.R. certificate required.

Surgical Scrub Tech, Certified Surg. Scrub Tech, or Surg. Scrub RN- 7554

Primary Duties:The Surgical Scrub Tech, Certified Surgical Scrub Tech or  Surgical Scrub RN will have knowledge of all surgical procedures and be able to properly set up a room with proper instrumentation using sterile technique.  The Surgical Scrub Tech, Certified Surgical Scrub Tech or  Surgical Scrub RN will be able to anticipate the surgeon’s need for instruments and hand appropriate instruments to the surgeon during a procedure.  Must be knowledgeable in sterilization of instruments and maintaining sterilization throughout a surgical procedure.

Qualifications: For Surgical Scrub Tech:  High school graduate or GED equivalent.  CNA with 2 years of hospital experience or currently enrolled in program for certification as a Surgical Technician with completion of program within 9 months. Certification should occur within 2 months of graduation. If CNA, a microbiology, anatomy, & physiology class is required within 1 year of hire.  For Certified Surgical Scrub Tech:  Graduate of an accredited program for Surgical Techs.  Certification for Surgical Techs required. Current CPR certification required.  For Surgical Scrub Nurse:  Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.  Current State of Illinois registered nurse license, current CPR certification and any other certification appropriate to specialty required.

Ultrasound Technologist- 7373

Department: Sonography

Primary Duties:The Ultrasound Technologist uses high frequency sound waves to perform scans of particular organs or vessels to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.  The technologist prepares the room and equipment, utilizes accepted settings to capture the images, and evaluates the images for diagnostic qualities.  The Ultrasound Technologist needs to assist with invasive procedures utilizing the guidance of ultrasound.  The Ultrasound Technologist also takes call, orders supplies, works the office, and transports patients.  The Ultrasound Technologist assists in scheduling the patients and explains the procedure being performed.

Qualifications:Associates Degree in a medical field required.  Prefer previous medical background and experience in ultrasound.  Registered ultrasound technologist preferred.

Unit Clerk- 7732

Primary Duties: The Unit Clerk has responsibility for the following:  services as a receptionist in a welcoming manner; assists in answering patient call lights; maintains the chart and all chart forms; performs all required clerical functions; executes accurate order entry and transcription of orders; notifies the Nurse/Charge Nurse of any new or changes physician orders; completes all supply orders; and promotes and assures patient safety.

Qualifications: Needs to be a High school graduate or GED equivalent.  Requires working knowledge of medical terminology, experience with computers and current CPR certification.
